This is not a case of "If one is good then two or three must be better!" 

The purpose of the heat pack is not to heat the box up and make it "toasty" for the animal inside. It is there to keep the box from getting too cold. This distinction can mean the difference between life and death for your animal. Reptiles will tolerate cooler temperatures far more easily than temperatures that get too warm.
