Two Factor Authentication

Adding Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to your MorphMarket account is a crucial step in enhancing the security of your account. 2FA provides an extra layer of protection by requiring you to provide a second form of verification in addition to your password. This guide will walk you through the process of enabling 2FA on your MorphMarket account.

1. While logged in, click on your profile icon at the top right of the screen and tap Account Settings -> General to access your account settings.

2. Under the Login section, you'll see an option called Manage Two-Factor Authentication. Click on it to begin the 2FA setup process.

3. You will be presented with four options for setting up 2FA:

• Authenticator App: Authenticator apps (like Google Authenticator: (Android), (and iOS)) generate login tokens via a mobile application downloaded on your device.
• SMS/Text Message: Login tokens will be sent via a text message to your mobile device.
• Backup Codes: Backup codes should be saved in case you lose access to your device.
• Email: Login tokens will be sent via the primary email address associated with your MorphMarket account.

4. Select your method(s) of choice by clicking on the "Add" or "View" links in the lower right corner.
5. Follow the instructions provided onscreen.

Congratulations! Your MorphMarket account is now secured with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). The next time you log in, you'll be required to enter the token generated by your authenticator app in addition to your password.

Before leaving the 2FA setup, we want to emphasize the importance of backup codes. These codes are your lifeline if you ever lose access to your authenticator app or device. Without backup codes, you may find it difficult to log in and will need to prove your identity to our customer service team.

Enabling 2FA on your MorphMarket account is a wise decision to protect your account from unauthorized access. We highly recommend keeping your backup codes in a safe place in case you ever lose access to your authenticator app. If you ever need to disable 2FA you can use the "Remove" button, but be sure to delete the account from your 2FA app.

Using an Authenticator App

Select "Add" in the corner of the Authenticator App option, and you will be prompted to open your 2FA authenticator app.

• Scan the QR code displayed on your MorphMarket screen using your authenticator app.
• After scanning the QR code, your authenticator app will provide a six-digit token. Enter this token in the "Token" field on MorphMarket.
• Once you've entered the token, click "Done" to finalize the 2FA setup.
