Why Can’t I Participate in Auctions?

If you're unable to place a bid or participate in auctions, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

1. Incomplete User Profile

To maintain a safe and trustworthy community, all users must complete their User Profile before participating in auctions. This includes basic details and other required fields.

2. Phone Number Not Verified

Phone number verification is required to bid on auctions. This helps us prevent fake bids and keeps MorphMarket secure for everyone.

3. Limited to One Auction at a Time

If you're a new MorphMarket user or haven't completed a purchase yet, you're limited to bidding on one auction every 24 hours.

Additionally, some sellers may choose to disallow bidding for new users all together. This will be at their individual discretion.

Once you've successfully completed a transaction for a Live Animal or Plant, and the ad is marked as "sold to" you, this restriction will be lifted automatically in about 24 hours.

4. Unavailable in your Region

Sellers may choose to disable international bidding on auctions. For this reason, some auctions may not be available in your region.

5. Individual Seller Settings

Sellers may choose to disallow first time buyers to bid on their auctions. This is a setting that the sellers set themselves and it will vary from auction to auction.

Once you've successfully completed a transaction for a Live Animal or Plant, and the ad is marked as "sold to" you, this restriction will be lifted automatically in about 24 hours.

6. Banned for Non-Payment

If you failed to pay for a previous auction, you may have been banned from participating in future auctions.

Please check your messages for notices regarding any past non-payment reports. These reports are taken seriously.

7. Ban Circumvention Attempt

If you were banned on a previous account and are trying to bypass that ban by creating a new account, you will not be able to participate. We have extremely robust systems in place to detect multiple accounts tied to the same individual.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for ban circumvention, and any attempt to bypass a suspension will result in permanent exclusion from auction participation, and our decision is final.
