MorphMarket Label Creator

Create professional, scannable labels for your reptiles, enclosures, and expo displays, all powered by your MorphMarket Animal Manager.


The MorphMarket Label Creator is your all-in-one tool for designing and printing custom reptile labels.


Each label automatically pulls data from your Animal Manager, such as the animal’s image, name, species, genetics, weight, and hatch date and more, giving you perfectly accurate, professional-looking labels every time.


You can use labels for multiple purposes, including:

  • Organizing tubs, racks, and enclosures.
  • Displaying animal information at expos.
  • Printing handouts or packaging inserts for buyers.
  • Internal record keeping and husbandry tracking.

How It Works

Access the Label Creator Page

  • To access this page, open your User Profile menu.
    • On mobile, this appears when you click your profile photo in the upper right corner (next to the messenger button)
    • On desktop, click on your username.
  • Find the "Account Settings" menu option. It will expand.
  • From there, click "Label Creator."
  • Once on this page, you can create and manage your label templates.

Create a Template

You can create a new template from scratch or copy and edit an existing template.


Duplicate an Existing Template

To duplicate an existing template, click on the copy icon located next to the template you would like to copy.

Edit an Existing Template

Click the "Pencil" icon on an existing label template to edit.

  • Note: The Default MorphMarket template can NOT be edited, but it can be duplicated and you can make changes from there.

Create a New Template

To create a new template, click the "New Template" button in the upper right corner of the page.


Design your Label and Customize the Settings

Once you are on the Label Creator page, you can drag and drop elements directly on the label preview, and adjust the label's settings.


Template Name: Name your template something that helps you identify the label's purpose.


Preview: This will show you a preview of your label. You can drag and drop elements here, and select any element to reposition, resize, or configure its properties.


Elements: Elements can be added and applied to the label, as desired.

  • Select the element you want to add, and then arrange it via the label preview.
  • Once you add the desired elements, click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page to return to your label.
  • The following elements are available:
    • Fields: Label Fields will contain all the text and info fields for your animals displayed with placeholder text, such as: {{ Animal ID }}.
      • Once a field is selected, you can change the font family, size, style, color, and alignment.
      • The following fields are available to add:
        • Animal ID
        • Animal Name
        • Category
        • Dam
        • Date of Birth
        • Follicle Size
        • Offspring Group
        • Price
        • Private Notes
        • Sex
        • Sire
        • Store Name
        • Traits
        • Weight
    • Icons: The following icons can be added to the label:
      • Sex
      • Sire
      • Dam
    • Images: The following images can be added to the label:
      • Animal Image
      • Store Logo
    • QR Code: You can choose to add the individual animal QR code and/or your store QR code.
      • Depending on what you are using the label for, you may wish to adjust your animal QR code settings via your Seller Profile settings page.
        • When you scan the QR code, you will see a pop-up asking if you want to Edit the Animal or Log a Husbandry Activity. You can set a default selection via your Seller Settings Page.
        • When scanned by other users, this will redirect them to the Public Ad Detail page.
    • Background: Select a background color for your label.

Label Details: Use this to set your desired label size and margins.


Default Export Layout: Select how you want your labels to print when exporting them.

    • Sheet: Selecting "Sheet" will allow you to print multiple labels on a single sheet of paper.
      • Sheet allows you to select a premade label sheet size (such as Avery 8163) or allow you to customize the sheet size and margins.
    • Label: Selecting "Label" will print 1 label per PDF page at the selected label size. (Ideal for label printers).

Zoom: Using this will allow you to zoom in and out of the label preview.


Snap to Grid: This will show you gridlines on your preview. These can be adjusted to your preferred size. Unchecking this will remove the gridlines from the preview.


Default Margin: The default margin is a safe area around your label. Unchecking this will remove that marker and spacing.


Set as Default Template: Checking this will make this your automatic default template when exporting labels from your Animal Manager.


Exporting/Printing Labels

To print/export labels, use the "Print QR Code Label" option on your "My Animals" or "Husbandry" page.
