Making a Purchase

• Find the listing you wish to purchase. If a seller has the orders system enabled, you will see a "Buy Now" button.
  • Click on this button to pay with a credit card.
  • Please make sure that you are ready to pay and complete the transaction. If you have questions or need additional information, please use the "Inquire to Buy" button instead.

• Before you begin the transaction, please carefully review the seller's terms and conditions and read over all of the information provided.
  • You will need to agree to all of these terms before placing your order.

• Enter your shipping details.
  • Please carefully enter your address and verify its accuracy.

• You will automatically be prompted to select your nearest FedEx hub location.
• Most sellers will require shipments to FedEx hub locations.
• Please confirm that the hub is nearby and accessible to you.
• You can choose to skip this step by clicking "Skip Hub."

• Follow the prompts to enter your payment details.
  • Payment will be processed directly by the seller through their Square account. MorphMarket does not process payments and is not responsible for sales tax.

• A message thread will automatically be opened between you and the seller.

• The seller will have 48 hours to approve or decline the purchase.
  • You can review your order by selecting the "Purchases" tab on the Orders page, or by clicking the order link in the message thread.
    • You will be able to see the order status on this page.

• The buyer will receive notifications once the order is approved by the seller, and when the seller ships the animal.
  • The buyer will need to reach out to the seller directly for tracking information.

• To finalize the transaction, the buyer should "Confirm Goods Received" via the Orders page once the delivery arrives.

Search for "Buy Now" Listings

A user can search specifically for listings with this feature enabled.

• When browsing, open the "Filters."

• Scroll to the bottom and find the "Other Options" header.
• Click the checkbox next to "Buy Now."
• Apply your changes.

Why am I unable to use Buy Now?

Buy Now is an optional feature, and if you do not see this on a seller's listing, they may not have it enabled. Otherwise, there may be a few reasons that it is not available to you.

Buy Now is not Available in Your Region

The message “Buy Now is not available in your region” means that this payment option isn’t currently supported in your location. Different regions have varying requirements for online payments, and Buy Now is not available in your area at this time.

Buy Now is Unavailable as a First Time Buyer

Some sellers choose to disable Buy Now for first-time buyers as an added safety measure. This restriction applies only to those sellers’ listings, not all listings with Buy Now.

You can still purchase the animal by sending the seller an inquiry using the Inquire to Buy button. The seller will then work with you directly through Messenger to arrange payment.

Once the seller marks the animal as “sold to” you, the restriction will automatically be lifted. Please allow up to 24 hours for this update to take effect.
